Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) supports Automechanika Canada
Automechanika Canada is pleased to announce a cooperation agreement with the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA). APRA will promote this year’s Automechanika Canada event to more than 1,000 member companies worldwide and to readers of their publications including the e-Connection electronic newsletter and Global Connection newspaper. In addition to endorsing the show, APRA will arrange educational seminars targeting the remanufacturers/rebuilders and their customers. APRA is a leading association that has been serving the automotive and truck parts remanufacturing industry since 1941.
Industry Support
The sponsorship of APRA confirms the industry-wide cooperation that Automechanika Canada continues to receive. Automechanika Canada’s network of supporters is growing steadily as associations and exhibitors come on board to participate in the event. APRA represents backing not only from a leading US association, but from an international association with members across the globe, including over 100 in Canada. Messe Frankfurt, Inc. and Business Information Group are thrilled to receive support from such an important and relevant group as the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association.
The Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association
The goals and interests of the Automotive Parts and Remanufacturers Association are a perfect fit within the global aftermarket Automechanika Canada is bringing to Toronto this September. “APRA is enthusiastic about its participation in Automechanika Canada. We hope to reach out to our membership and their customers to help them understand the wonderful world of remanufacturing. We also believe that this show will be a valuable event for our membership as a way of reaching new customers and networking with others in the aftermarket,” stated William C. Gager, APRA President. Through these combined efforts and resources, the new partnership will benefit the remanufacturers, their customers, and the entire aftermarket industry.
Remanufacturing
Remanufacturing is the ultimate form of recycling and contributes dramatically to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, air pollution, saving natural resources, reducing energy requirements by 85%, and reducing the amount of product that ends up in landfills. Remanufacturing today is one of the largest product categories in the automotive aftermarket.
Automechanika Canada will be the only show in the Canadian market dedicated to all facets of the automotive aftermarket. Additional programs offered will include conference sessions featuring product innovation and technical training, career opportunities for apprentices and students, product demonstrations, and industry displays. This exciting three-day event will offer exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their products to thousands of service and repair owners, technicians, installers, jobbers, media, and industry professionals.
