Toronto, Canada: With the planning of the show in full swing, Messe Frankfurt, Inc. continues to move forward with the successful development of the Décor + Design Expo & Conference ( Canada) in cooperation with the Floor Coverings Institute of Ontario (FIO), the Paint and Decorating Retailers Association (PDRA) and Walls, Windows, Furnishings Association (WWfA). Two featured highlights will be the regional educational program presented by Window Coverings Magazine, as well as the ever-popular PDRA certification courses. In addition, Mumby & Associates has confirmed their participation and made a call to the Canadian design industry to get on board with this exciting event.
The 2005 Window Fashions Regional Tour is a comprehensive two-day program for interior designers and workroom and installation professionals, providing Window Fashion Certification Program (WFCP) credits, as well as IACET CEU credits. One of the highlights of the seminar program is the signature presentation, “The Showcase,” where attendees can see and touch more than 150 window treatments. This presentation is a fast-paced show featuring hundreds of actual full-size window treatments on stage with internationally inspired samples to provide fresh ideas and solutions.
PDRA is offering a variety of informative certification classes and educational seminars at the upcoming show, including Certified Faux Consultant, Certified Paint Consultant, Certified Wallcovering Consultant and Certified Interior Decorating Consultant. Instructors include: David Garland, Nicholas Cichielo and Marjorie Fougere.
Canada will feature the most prominent companies for home and commercial applications from paint and decorating products, to window coverings, fabrics, home accents, wall coverings and floor coverings.
